In addition to the
entry requirements
for A Levels on
page 15, you will
need a 5 at French
GCSE or for French
to be a home
language.
French is one of the core languages
of world business and governments
and is the official language of
countries across several continents.
You will develop your oral skills
[speaking and listening through
conversations and presentations
and your ability to write and read
French to a more sophisticated
level.
COMBINES WELL WITH
English Language/Literature,
Geography, Politics, History,
Journalism, Religious Studies,
Sociology and Spanish.
ASSESSMENT
This course will be assessed through
written exams and an oral exam.
