need English at 5 or
above.
Sociology is a Social Science in
which you will learn skills and
subject knowledge relevant for a
wide range of occupations linked to
social and political issues. There are
unique enrichment opportunities
at Monoux College with ‘Journey
to Justice’. You will learn how to
campaign for social justice and take
part in an active social movement
on issues that you care about.
Law, History and English-based
subjects.
ASSESSMENT
This course is assessed through two
exams at the end of the two years of
study.
PROGRESSION
ACADEMIC PROGRESSION
Progress onto sociology-related
apprenticeships or degree.
EMPLOYMENT PROGRESSION
Sociology graduates can go on
to work within: Governmentfunded
agencies, pressure groups,
international relations, business
management, social policy and
