The <strong>Munster</strong> 7s squad had a strong finish to<br />
the third and final round of the IRFU Academy<br />
7s at the IRFU High Performance Centre last<br />
Saturday, as the Ireland Men’s 7s team and the<br />
four provinces completed the new round-robin<br />
tournament format.<br />
The <strong>Munster</strong> 7s squad included senior players<br />
Liam Coombes and Alex McHenry, and<br />
Greencore Academy players Scott Buckley,<br />
Jack Crowley, Jack Daly, Jake Flannery, Sean<br />
French and Alex Kendellen.<br />
Alan Flannery (Shannon), Conor Moloney<br />
(Ennis) and Nick Greene, Cian Hurley and Mark<br />
Donnelly (all Garryowen) were also included.<br />
<strong>Munster</strong> defeated Ulster 21-0 in their first<br />
game but went down 38-5 to the Ireland 7s<br />
team in what was their only defeat of the<br />
day. They followed up with a 17-21 win over<br />
Connacht and finished their tournament with a<br />
12-24 win over Leinster.<br />
