OPENINGS STUDIO TM is a suite of
Building Information Modelling (BIM)
software tools for creating and visualizing
3D doors, frames and hardware objects
as well as modifying their associated
perimeters.
OPENINGS STUDIO TM is intended
to serve as an all-in-one innovation for
all stakeholders involved in the project
and for the lifecycle of the building. As
it comprises all sorts of building projects
and applications, the software ensures
that the design, construction and facility
management processes for every opening
can be carried out seamlessly and
efficiently, optimising the full potential of
BIM technology.
The software has the capacity to
instantly build and modify thousands
of openings, including curtain panels,
custom frames and light applications.
As a productivity enhancement tool, it
eliminates inefficiencies working with 2D
documents and drawings, and seamlessly
integrates product basis-of-design details
into opening models for use in schedule.
OPENING STUDIO TM also features
change log and RFI tracking that minimizes
constructability errors and omissions
during the design and construction
processes. For instance, when a project
revision is submitted through the software,
it will automatically keep tracks of all
changes made to the door openings. The
software can also create special smart
tags that provide easy access to door
and hardware information, specific to
each opening during inspections and site
surveys.
The software’s built-in is linked
to supplemental information such
as catalogues and technical sheets,
installation and maintenance instructions,
sustainability and performance documents,
etc., which can be seamless shared across
to architects, contractors, suppliers and
even project owners. It can also compare
material selections for variable pricing
options so the best door opening solutions
can be quickly determined for the project.
