The brilliant creation of New York-based architect,
Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, and architects61,
18 Robinson is a sleek, statement building
reminiscent of New York’s Times Square and
Manhattan’s Flatiron Building. Designed to
address the principles of sustainable urbanism,
18 Robinson is a highly visible Grade A office and
retail development that maximizes the potential of its small site in
downtown Singapore.
Completed in 2018, the 180-metre commercial tower spans
259,400 sq ft across 28 floors. Located at the terminus of the
V-shaped intersection of Market Street and Robinson Road, 18
Robinson avails the odd site shape through the balanced elements
of the faceted tower. Two primary volumes, a hovering crystalline
office tower and a retail podium, make up the principle building
elements.
Keeping with Singapore’s Landscape Replacement Area policy,
18 Robinson offers publicly accessible space that is equivalent
to the site area. Its landscaped spaces include a glass-enclosed
sky garden, a terraced roof-scape on the podium and outdoor
terraces, which feature planted trees, natural ventilation, and
views across the city.

offering views of the city, a terraced roof-scape on the podium, outdoor
terraces integrated into key office floors, and a pocket retail park.
