The new Crewsaver range of lightweight inflatable boats are
high-quality tenders designed for all-round use, whether
you are looking for a quick and easy-to-launch boat to get
you ashore or simply wanting a little fun on the water.
Available in three different sizes, with either a slatted or air deck
for easy stowage and transportation, the boat is designed for
up to three persons, with sizes ranging from 185m to 260m in
length. Each version of the Crewsaver Inflatable Boat is quick
to inflate/deflate by way of one touch inflation valves.
Rigid and robust, and manufactured from high-quality materials,
the design features welded seams and a PVC laminated solid
transom which can be fixed to stern davits by using integral davit
eyes and a davit ring. Additional stainless-steel lifting points on
the outside of the bow facilitate towing and lashing operations.
A wide rubbing strake offers all-round protection during those
moments when coming alongside. The solid transom accommodates
a wide range of traditional and electric outboard engines, offering
both a stylish and practical inflatable tender.
Every Crewsaver Inflatable Boat is kitted out with a high-capacity
pump, repair kit, two paddles, mooring lines, a sliding alloy seat,
and a carry valise.
The new range marks Crewsaver’s entry into the inflatable boat
market. The company, widely regarded as the foremost supplier
of lifejackets and safety equipment to the leisure marine sector,
has incorporated the technology, design and build quality inherent
to parent company Survitec’s established commercial marine
and defence rescue boats.
Since market launch earlier this year, Crewsaver says the new
boat range has received a high volume of orders. Indeed, with
many marinas now beginning to open following Covid restrictions,

However, Crewsaver advises to thoroughly inspect boats and
safety equipment before heading out. Lifejacket fabric, for instance,
should be checked for cuts, tears, abrasion and signs of damage
caused by heat before manually inflating and leaving it for 12
hours. A lifejacket that is leaking will not hold its firmness and
must be replaced.
