Petrels, despite dominating<br />

the first quarter, but rallied to<br />

It was the first weekend of<br />

Platinum (under18) and Kwik<br />

Sticks (Year 7/8)games last<br />

week, with the Kwik Sticks<br />

competitionsdivided into<br />

both7and11­a­side formats.<br />

The Rangiora Hockey Club<br />

is again fielding four<br />

Platinum teams and has one<br />

11­a­side Kwik Sticks team in<br />

boththe girls’ and boys’<br />

competitions, backedupby<br />

three girls’ 7­a­side and two<br />

boys’ 7­a­side teams.<br />

struggled in their first<br />

outings, but showedpositive<br />

signs theywill improve as the<br />
