I have uncontrollable pain as a byproduct<br />
of my diabetes <strong>and</strong> I am not a good sleeper<br />
anyway. I just dread another hot Summer<br />
of pain <strong>and</strong> never enough rest.<br />

Sonia, I am sorry to hear that you<br />
have referred pain as a result of your<br />
diabetes. However you do need to<br />
urgently discuss medications that<br />
would help you to get the good night’s<br />
rest that you so deserve.You may get<br />
some help by looking at alternative<br />
medicines too, <strong>and</strong> then applying them<br />
into your life with a view to relieving<br />
pain <strong>and</strong> getting a full night’s sleep<br />
each night. This does not mean that<br />
you become a zombie, or look towards<br />
your medication as anything more<br />
than assisting your immediate medical<br />
needs <strong>and</strong> restoring natural sleep,<br />
so that you can live a better quality<br />
of life; <strong>and</strong> remove pain from the<br />
agenda as a natural right. Schedule an<br />
appointment with your Doctor, who<br />
has pledged to keep you both alive <strong>and</strong><br />
well <strong>and</strong> who can discuss with you the<br />
alternatives of successful pain relief<br />
<strong>and</strong> the many options open to you right<br />
now. Considerable research examines<br />
pain control <strong>and</strong> there are many new<br />
medications out there that will surely<br />
help to steer you without pain through<br />
the long hot summer ahead.<br />
