Spain offers so much especially in June.
Everything is on your door step, as such,
or travel a short enjoyable distance. Here
are a few “food for Thought” ideas to soak
up some happy times visiting local events.
The 2021 International Music festival
Moraira is being held next to Moraira
Castle in June. The event starts at 6pm
and features 7 different live acts for you
to enjoy. If you are visiting the Moors &
Christians Fiesta in Moraira this year,
come and enjoy this fantastic evening of
live music.
The “Fogueres San Juan de la Cometa” is
a Fiesta in Calpe, which is held normally
towards the end of on June and has been
printed 23rd June 2021. The Night of San
Juan is celebrated in Calpe as the shortest
night of the year and summer solstice.

fiesta one of the highlights of the Calpe
fiesta experience. This is the night of the
summer solstice ritual. The next night, the
24th of June, is the eve of San Juan Bautista,
the patron saint of La Cometa. Bonfires are
built up out of old wooden furniture and
are lit during the night in celebration of
the forthcoming summer. Again subject to
