Chair Chat – A Note from our Board Chairperson
Dear Friends-
We hope that you are as excited to read our First Annual Report as we
are to compile it! This is another milestone for our fledgling organization.
We are proud of what we have accomplished in 17 months and
face current economic and regulatory challenges with confidence that
we are filling a critical niche.
It is the enthusiasm of our hundreds of volunteers and the happiness of
our guest families that reinforces our commitment to our vision. Each
time there is a need, Beth receives immediate responses and offers to
help. Each time a guest family expresses gratitude as they are leaving
our program, it reinforces our shared vision.
Although our 2009 operating expenses exceeded our income, we were
gratified by the outpouring of financial support during the fourth
quarter. In spite of the economic downturn, the contributions from
individuals and congregations were gratifying. We look forward to
working with all of you in 2010 as we continue to assist families who
need a little help during difficult times. Thank you in advance for your
continued support.

Mission Statement:
The Metrowest IHN is a cooperative, interfaith partnership
offering hope to homeless families with children through safe
transitional shelter, meals, and supportive case management
as they seek permanent housing.
