J&J Super Hawk for Victoria
It’s been 10 years since Victoria
Recovery last had a new Powerlift
on their fleet but changing trends in
terms of casualty vehicles have swayed
Lee Ricciardi to reassess his fleet
requirements for this year. Historically
Victoria have consistently replaced their
12 T slidebeds like for like, on a three year
rota but, this year the dynamics have
changed and Victoria have gone retro.
J&J Conversions are renowned for
their stunning ‘Super hawk’, Power lifts,
a conversion designed with a stainless
steel modular body, twin hydraulic lifting
rams, hydraulic load levelling and front
counter balance. Lee opted to have his
new Spec lift fitted to a new 7 T Iveco Daily
as it’s agile and compact, a key factor in
changing form a 12 T slide bed, but also it
has great functionality with its 2 T under
lift: ideal for operations around Bristol and
Bath’s increasingly congested streets and
incredibly hilly terrain, not to mention it
is compliant with the new LEZ regulations
which continue to roll out across the
country.
