a man in his 60s broke into<br />
the vacuum machine and stole $200<br />
to $300 in change. He was reportedly<br />
driving a black Land Rover with a<br />
trailer.<br />

going through residents’ trash at 1:09<br />
p.m. Saturday at 2 Farm Ave. Police<br />
reported the coyote was no longer on<br />
scene upon arrival, but there was a<br />

Salem Police located the vehicle at<br />
280 Highland Ave. in Salem. Joseph<br />
Mandes, 40, homeless, was issued a<br />
summons for carjacking, aggravated<br />
assault and battery with a dangerous<br />
weapon and operation of a motor vehicle<br />
with a suspended license. The<br />
owner of the vehicle was treated at<br />
Salem Hospital for his injuries.<br />
