Teresa Malone, Executive Director<br />

Teresa Malone is the chief executive officer of the association. She is the liaison with the MNA Board<br />
and is responsible for carrying out the goals and objectives of the association, for management of<br />
the organization and for representing the association with other organizations, public officials, the<br />
media, and the public. She is responsible for hiring and managing a staff to carry out the work of<br />
the association.<br />
Dana Walker, Director of Events and Marketing<br />

Dana is responsible for planning and organizing special events and continuing education activities.<br />
She is the point of contact for questions regarding program and workshop schedules, CE contact<br />
hours, event registration, or to become a speaker for continuing education programs. She is also<br />
responsible for coordinating news releases and media relations. Dana supports the activities of the<br />
Council on Nursing Education, the MNA Provider Unit, the Council on Organizational Affairs, and<br />
the Council on Nursing Practice.<br />
Deborah Norman, Finance Administrator / Membership Coordinator<br />

Deborah is responsible for all financial transactions including posting for membership dues,<br />
special events, and continuing education activities. She is also the Membership Coordinator and is<br />
the point of contact for any membership questions, changes, renewals, updates, etc. Deborah also<br />
supports the District Presidents with current membership information for each district.<br />
Dionne Inman, Advanced Practice Coordinator / Publishing Coordinator<br />

Dionne is responsible for working with the Director of the Council on Advanced Practice Nursing to<br />
support activities relating to Nurse Practitioners. Dionne is coordinator of the quarterly newspaper—<br />
The Mississippi RN. She also creates the convention & conference preview guides, books, brochures,<br />
district emails, and uploads information to the MNA website. She is the site administrator for the<br />
Cisco Webex Event Center.<br />
LaGina Walker, Executive Assistant<br />

LaGina Walker is the assistant to the Executive Director, she monitors legislative issues that pertain<br />
to health affairs and circulates legislative updates, prepares for Board meetings, special events, and<br />
assists with other executive functions. LaGina assists with the management of the office information<br />
systems, and is responsible for disseminating new membership packets, membership renewals,<br />
and continuing education activities.<br />
