Luc Mora is an artist based
in Portugal who specializes
in abstract art. His painting
started with watercolor,
which proved to be magical
and creative, but as time went by
his painting took another dimension
and turned to abstract art. He has
developed his artistic career through
numerous exhibitions and sharing his
artwork with many collectors, as well
as social networks and virtual sales.
Luc Mora is never limited to the
dimensions of his canvas as he
disrupts volumes and symmetries
until contours no longer exist. His
painting goes beyond the canvas.
Luc is always curious about all
creations and trends. “As soon as an
artistic creation catches my eye, I try
to discover its secrets, its mysteries,
and its existence,” he says.
Through the artworks, he aims to
welcome his audience into a world
filled with intense color and beautiful
mixtures that will always enthrall the
viewer. Sharing his artworks with the
world and the satisfaction he sees on
people’s faces after viewing it as well
as knowing that his paintings are in
many private collections in the four
corners of the world are the things
that fill Luc Mora with immense joy.
During the pandemic, Luc
has initiated the search for new
sensations of color. He says “It is
always difficult to explain one's
painting. I prefer that each
person finds his happiness
and his interpretation.
You don't have to explain
everything. Let yourself
be guided by the color and
your own eyes. The answers
are in the heart of my colors
and my paintings.” The
concept of art is hard to
define; not because it is
vague or abstract, but
because it has had many
different reasons for being
created. It takes us on a
journey to the past, the
present, and the future.
To Luc, art is a
dimension on its own.
Through the artworks,
he aims to welcome his
audience into a world
filled with intense
color and beautiful
mixtures that will
always enthrall the
viewer.
It is a real value and a colorful
universe in which black does
not exist. His message to artists
is, “I hope we can share our
experiences, our techniques,
and our emotions with real
sincerity”.
