‘Twas the week before christmas and all around people gathered 

dreading the value of their portfolio as it dropped to all-time lows. 

Meh! Been there many times since 2017. If you can’t control your 

emotional side by now you are bound to go grey well before your 

time! 

Welcome to Issue 21. Can I just begin with a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to 

all of the readers out there - #FAM. 

For the first time in 10 weeks of publishing...over 800 readers in 1 

week! 

HUGE! If I had to create a roadmap is would be to average 1000 

readers per week within 12 weeks of launch. Two weeks to go. 

I just finished giving away a total of 1Sol over 4 issues (16, 17, 18,19). 

I might have to organise a giveaway if #Shill can break 1000 readers 

in a week. Maybe this coming week will be THE week?

Lots to read and view in this issue. MINT TRACKER is always a good 

browse, that @easymoneyding puts in a lot of analysis on the trends 

that are happening. Things that make you go ‘hmmm’. A little writeup 

about Cryptocribs, one of those mints you hope to be able to 

mint but couldn’t be f* staying up till 3am just to miss out as it sells 

in under 2mins!

to ‘magazine’! 

Finally, can I give a shoutout to a community that have rallied together 

to bring life back to a rugged project. Mandrills have a new Discord 

and new Twitter run by community members that are working hard 

at getting the project back on track. Thumbs up team!

Macro Solana NFT Recap // 12 Nov 2021 this @SolanaMBS price 

chart should be viewed as barometer for the overall solana NFT 

market. You can clearly see that the height of the run was the end of 

September/start of October when crypto prices went on sale. 

Here’s the @thugbirdz chart for reference. again, you can see that 

prices peaked during the same period. on the flip side, you can also 

see that the project is close to the peak for unique number of holders

Let’s rewind to that period of time, the price of solana during the peak 

nft phase is the same as it is right now. The difference is that the 

floor is 1/3 of the price of what it was back then. 

You can see same trend line in @SolsteadsNFTwho launched during 

the peak, and despite their project being the first ever real estate on 

solana, the price action has been hard to swallow/experience.

Whilst we’re at it, i might as well plug @SolanaFloor here, would be 

dropping this thread without their hard work. here’s a graph of market 

distribution for @thugbirdz. 

Perhaps the most concerning issue at the moment is that volume has 

dried up and floors are dropping despite solana being relatively cheap 

atm. what does this mean for the next 3-4 weeks of the year? 

It means you’re most likely bag holding long term into next year, and 

it’s going to be increasingly more challenging than it already has been, 

to take and make profit. it means that in the short term, things are not 

looking that great. 

But that’s not to say in the long term it’s looking gloomy. bag holders 

will be rewarded for being in the right projects and communities. but 

until these walls get eaten up by a fresh injection of funds, everyone’s 

going to be travelling in the same boat, just swimming along. 


The real story here is the importance of taking profits. and i say this 

to myself as well, although it was hard to imagine that the run really 

only lasted two weeks, taking profits during them or incrementally 

selling down would have helped my position. 

At the same time, I decided with conviction at the time and can’t 

waver in that now, after the fact. tbf, there’s only been one project 

imo that’s pushed itself into the blue chip range and that’s 

@BoryokuDragonz 

To be able to launch post peak and hold the prices at the moment is 

a credit to their planning/execution but also their use of tokenomics. 

there’s no way they retain those floor prices without their ala 

@CyberKongz style project. 

Moving on, a friend of mine messaged in the chat group and was 

lamenting about not minting @MonkeyKingdom_. Their floor prices 

are at 83sol now which to me is still a massive head scratch. I just 

don’t know what to make of it, and how has it risen despite the price 

fixing tag 

Despite choosing not get involved and seeing price floors rip, this 

was an easy one to let go tbh. Just am not going to put my funds at 

risk for something like that. 

I do believe the market is in unchartered territory at the moment. 

@SolanaMBS is the gold standard for market action, so again until 

the floors get bought up, it’s hard to see other projects maintaining 

their price levels. 

If @SolanaMBS drops under 90sol, there’s a chance all hell breaks 

loose. that’s a genuine concern of mine, so everyday I’m checking 

that lmao. Regardless, there have been multiple new staples that I 

believe will be here to stay (most of them are VC backed). 

In no particular order here are the projects that have propelled 

themselves into that consideration set @GenesysGo, @genopets, 

@_portals_, @nyanheroes before I sign off tonight, I want to do a 

little shoutout to @Playground_Sol for dropping epoch’s over the 

weekend. Well received launch and have been seeing the sales fly 

through the last couple days.
