14 �� “Wa qaalat taa’i’fatun min ahlil’kitaab aaminoo billazee unzila alal’lazeena aamanoo waj’hannahaari wak’furoo aaqirahu la’Allaahum yar’ji’uun”.. [72].. 72. And a group of the possessors of the Book said, “Believe during the day in that which is revealed on the believers, and reject it at its end (of the day) perhaps they (the believers) may return back (to their past religion). � �� “Wa laa tu’mi’noo, illa liman tabi’a deenakum, qul innal’huda hudal’laahi, an yu’taa ahadun misla maa uutee’tum aow yuhaaj’jookum inda rabbikm, qul innal’fazla biyadil’laahi yu’teehi man yashaa’u, wal’laahu waa’siun aleem”. [73]. 73. “Do not believe except the one who follow your religion, say, “Surely guidance is the guidance of Allaah, being given to the one like that which is given to you or may dispute with you before your Nourisher, Say, “The grace is in the hand of Allaah, He gives it to whom He may desire, Allaah is Most Expansive, Possessor of all knowledge”. �� “Yaqtassu bi’rahmatihi man yashss’u, wal’’laahu zul’fazlil’azeem”. [74]. 74. “He specializes with His kindness to whom He may desire, and Allaah is the possessor of great favour”. �� “Wa min ahlil’kitaabi man in ta’man’hu bi’qantaarin yawaddihi ilaika wa minhum man in ta'man'hu bideerin laa yawaddihi ilaika illa maa dumta alaihi qaa’i’man, zaalika bi’annahum qaaloo laisa alaina fil’ummiyeena sabeeelun, wa yaqooloona alal’laahil’kaziba wa hum ya’lamoon”. [75]. 75. “And from the possessors of the book there are, if you keep with him quintals of gold, he will return it to you, and from them there are, if you keep with him even a dinar, he will not return it to you except you continuously stand upon him (demanding) that is because, they said, “There is nothing upon us, in the ignorant (Arabs) a way (responsibility), and they say falsehood upon Allaah the while they know it”. Quoting Sayeed Ibn Jubair, Ibn Katseer has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “The customs of ignorance are all wiped out under my foot, but the deposits of even a dissolute should have to be returned”. �� “Balaa man aow’faa bi’ahdihi wat’taqaa, fa innal’laaha yuhibbul’ muttaqeen”. [76]. 76. “Why not, one who fulfill his promise and guard himself against evils, then surely Allaah loves those who guard themselves”. ��
15 “Innal;lazeena yash’taroona bi’ahdil’laahi wa aay’maa’nihim samanan qleelan ulaika laa qalaaqa lahum fil’aaqirati wa aa yukallimu’ humul’laahu wa laa yansuru ilaihim yaow’mal' qiyaamati, wa laa yuzakkeehim wa lahum azaabun aleem”. [77]. 77. “Those who sell Allaah’s agreement and their oaths for a small price, certainly, those will not have a share in the Hereafter, and Allaah would not speak to them and would not look at them on the Doomsday and He will not purify them and for them there is painful punishment”. Quoting Abu Zirr, Ibn Kaseer has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “Three kinds of persons, Allaah keeps them friendly, one who fights in the way of Allaah courageously, get killed or return victoriously, the second one is who while in journey keep himself awake by praying and guarding the luggage of his fellow travelers, the third one is one who bears the teases of others and keep patience till his death or separation by shift to other place. Like wise three kinds of persons to who Allaah will not speak to them, or look at them and will not purify them but order them to be put into the Hell. They are one who wears the cloth extended below his knees, the second one is who sells his goods by false oaths, the third one is who boasts his charity or help repeatedly to the person helped or otherwise. Quoting Musnad Ahmad, Ibn Kataeer has recorded another saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “one who takes false oath and grab others wealth/ goods, on the Day of Judgment, Allaah will meet him with much anger”. �� “Wa inna minhum lafareeqan yaloona al’sinatahum bilkitaabi litah’saboohu minal’kitabi wa maa huwa minal’kitaabi, wa yaqooloona huwa min indil’laahi wa maa huwa min indil’laahi wa yaqooloona alal’laahil; kaziba wa hum ya’lamoon”. [78]. 78. “And certainly from them there is a group who twist their tongues (while reading) with the book, so that you may consider it to be from the book, but it is not from the book and they say it from Allaah, but it is not from Allaah, and they say the lie on Allaah while they know it”. �� “Maa kaana libasharin an yu’tiyahul’laahul’kitaaba wal’hikmata wan’ nubu’wata, summa yaqoolu linnaasi koonoo ibaadan lee min doonil’laahi wa laakin koonoo rabbaniyyeena bimaa kuntum ta’lamoonal’kitaab wa bimaa kuntum tad’rusoon”. [79]. 79. “No man to whom Allaah gives the book and wisdom and prophet hood afterwards say to the people, “Become worshippers to me without Allaah, on the contrary become the worshippers of the Nourisher as per that which you teach the book and as per that which you study”. �� “Wa laa ya’murukum an tata’qizu wal’malaaikata wan’nanniyyeena arbaaban, a, yaamurukum bil’kufri ba’da iz’antum muslimoon”. [80]. 80. “And he will not order you as to hold the angles and the prophets as Nourisher, will he order you to infidelity after that you are Muslims”. �� “Wa iz aqazal’laahu meesaaqan’nabiyyeena lamaa aataynaakum min kitaabin wa hikmatin summa jaa’a’kum rasoolun musaddiqun limaa ma’a’kum la’tu’minunna bihee ��
