134. “Those who spend in prosperity and in adversity and the suppressers of the anger and
pardoners to the people and Allaah loves the humanitarians”.
Quoting Al-Bukhari and Muslim, Ibn Kaseer has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS)
wherein he had asked his companions, “Who from you, love much the wealth of his successors than
of his own? His companions replied, “No one from us”. Then Rasoolullaah (SAS) explained, “Your
wealth is that which you spend in the way of Allaah, during your life, and the wealth which you
leave behind is the wealth of your successors. Your less spending in the way of Allaah and more
accumulation of wealth is the proof that you love much to the wealth of your successors, and then
asked them “Who is the great wrestler? They replied, “One who cannot be defeated in wrestling”. He
again explained, “The great wrestler is one who controls himself at anger”.
Quoting Haris'bin'Qudama'Sa'idi, Ibn Kaseer has recorded that then he asked Rasoolullaah (SAS)
for a profitable advise which should be short so that We can remember and act. Rasoolullaah (SAS)
asked him. “Don’t get anger on any thing”? he asked the same question many a times, but
Rasoolullaah (SAS) reply was the same.
said, “If one gets anger on anything, he should sit down, if standing and lay down if sitting”.
said, “one who allows time for payment of the debt or absolve from payment of the debt, Allaah will
absolve him from the Hell”.
