187. “When Allaah took a promise from those who were given the Book, that you should explain<br />

it to the people and you should not hide it, then they threw it behind their backs and purchased small<br />

amount for it, so it is bad which they purchase”.<br />

“Laa tah’sa’bannal’lazeen yaf’rahoona bi’maa aa’taow wa yuhib’ boona an yuhma’doo<br />

bi’maa lam yaf’a’loo falaa tahsa’banna’hum bi’mafaa’ zatin minal’azaabi, wa lahum azaabun<br />

aleem”. [188].<br />

188. “Do not think that those who are happy with that which they accomplished and desire that<br />

they to be praised with that which they never done, so do not think them to be in safe from the<br />

punishment and for them is a painful punishment”.<br />

“Wa lillaahi mulkus’samaa’waati wal’arzi, wal’laahu alaa kulli shai’yin qadeer” [189].<br />

189. “And for Allaah is the kingdom of the skies and the earth, and Allaah is powerful on all<br />

things”.<br />

“Inna fee qal’qis’samaa’wal’arzi waq’tilaa’fil’laili wan’nahaari la’aayaatin li’uuli’albaab”.<br />

[190].<br />

190. “Certainly in the creation of the skies and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the<br />

day, definitely there are signs for the men of wisdom”.<br />

“Alla’zeena yaz’kuroonal’laaha qiyaa’man wa qu’uu’dan wa alaa junoobi’him wa<br />

yata’fakkaroon fee qal’qis’samaa’waati wal’arzi, rabbanaa maa qalaq’ta haazaa baatilan,<br />

sub’haanaka fa’qinaa azaaban’naar”. [191].<br />

191. “Those who remember Allaah while standing and sitting and laying on their sides, and think<br />

about the creation of the skies and the earth, O’ our Nourisher, You have not created this as futile,<br />

you are Glorified, so save us from the punishment of the Fire”.<br />

Quoting “Saheehain” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) Ibn Kaseer has recorded the saying of<br />

Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he has ordered Imranibin'Haseen, “ Pray (Salaat) while standing, if you<br />

cannot stand, then while sitting, and if that is also not possible, then pray while laying i.e. it should<br />

not be left over and always have remembrance of Allaah in heart and mind”.<br />

For remembrance and thinking, Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS)<br />

wherein he observed that some people were discussing about Allaah. He said, “Discuss and think<br />

about the creation, and do out discuss and think about Creator, as you cannot conceive His ability”.<br />

Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he asked to pray<br />

(Salaatul'Janazah) when he heard the news of death of An'Najaashi, the ruler of Habasha, He said to<br />

his companions who were assembled then. Pray the Salaatul'Janazah on your brother -<br />

An'Najaashi”.<br />

Al-Qurtubi has also recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “A day’s<br />

association in the way of Allaah, is better there the entire world and that which in it, and”.<br />

Quoting Osman'Ibn'Affaan, Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein<br />

Osman Ibn Affan said, that he heard Rasoolullaah (SAS) saying”, the associated himself one night in
