wala’tan’surunnahu, qaala, a’aqrar’tum wa aqaztum alaa zaalikum is’ree, qaaloo, aqrarnaa,<br />

qaala fa’ashadoo wa anaa ma'a'kum minash’shaahideen”. [81].<br />

81. “And when Allaah took a promise of the prophets as “to I will give you book and wisdom”<br />

after that a messenger came to you, confirming that which is with you, for you should believe him<br />

and help him. He (Allaah) said, “Do you agree and hold my agreement upon you”, They said, “We<br />

agreed”, He (Allaah) said, “Bear the witness and I am the witness bearers with you”.<br />

Quoting Musnad Ahmad, Ibn Kaseer has recorded he saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he<br />

said, “In the name of Allaah I have taken an oath and say, if Moosa (AS) comes to you and you<br />

follow him , leaving me, then all of you will become sinners.<br />

Quoting Musnad Abu Ya’la, Ibn Kaseer has recorded another saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) in<br />

this request, wherein he said, “Don’t ask the possessors of the books, as they have gone wrong so<br />

how can they guide you properly in such case there is the possibility that you may confirm an<br />

untruth to be truth or a truth to be untruth, I take an oath in the name of Allaah, has Moosa(AS) been<br />

alive, he would have nothing but to follow me.<br />

“Fa man tawalla ba’da zaalika, fa’ulaika’ humul’faasiqoon”. [82].<br />

82. “So whoever turns back after that, then they are the disso lutes”.<br />

“A’ fa’gaira deenil’laahi yab’goona wa lahu aslama man fis’samaawaai wal’arzi taw’an wa<br />

karhan wa ilaihi yurja’uun”. [83].<br />

83. “Do they seek a religion other then the religion of Allaah, whereas all that who are in the<br />

skies and the earth, submit to Him, willingly or unwillingly, and towards him they will be returned.<br />

“Qul aamannaa billaahi wa maa unzila alainaa wa maa unzila alaa Ibraaheema wa<br />

Ismaeela wa Ishaaqa wa Ya’qooba wal’asbaati wa maa uutiya Moosa wa Easaa<br />

wan’nabiy’yoona min rabbihim laa nufarriqu baina ahadim’minhum wa nahnu lahu<br />

muslimoon”. [84].<br />

84. “Say, “We believe in Allaah, and that which is revealed upon us, and that which is revealed<br />

upon Ibraaheem(AS) and Isma'eel, (AS) and Ishaaq(AS) and Ya’qoob(AS) and their children and<br />

which is revealed upon Moosa (AS) and Easa(AS) and the prophets, from their Nourisher, we do not<br />

differentiate between any of them and we are muslims [flaw-les in submission] to Him (Allaah)”.<br />

Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “Don’t abuse my<br />

companions, because they have accepted Islaam, due to the fear of Allaah, whereas people accepted<br />

Islaam due to the fear of the sword”.<br />

“Wa man yab’tagi gairal’islaami deenan falan yuqbala minhu, wa huwa fil’aaqirati<br />

minal’qaasireen”. [85].<br />

85. “One who seek a religion, other than Islaam, then it will never be accepted from him, and in<br />

the Hereafter he will be from the losers”.<br />

“Kaifa yahdil’laahu qaowman kafaroo ba’da eemaanihim wa shahidoo, annar’rasoola<br />

haqqun wa jaa’a’humul’baiy’yinaatu, wal’laahu laa yahdil’qaowmaz’zaalimeen”. [86].
