Quoting Ibn Umar, Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein, while explaining the above Aayat, Rasoolullaah (SAS) said, “Those who follow the traditions of Rasoolullaah (SAS) their faces become white and those who created new things in Islaam, their faces will become black”. �� “.Tilka aayaatul’laahi nat’looha alaika bil’haqqi wa mal’laahu yureedu zulman lil’aalameen”. [108]. 108. “Those are the indications of Allaah, We read it upon you with truth, and Allaah does not desire cruelty for the worlds”. �� “Wa lillaahi maa fis’samaa’waati wa maa fil’arzi, wa ilal’laahi tur’ja’ul’ umoor”. ]109]. 109. “And that which is in the skies and that which is in on the earth belongs to Allaah, and all the matters are being returned to Allaah”. �� “Kuntum qaira ummatin uqriat linnaasi ta’muroona bil’ma’roofi wa tan’haowna anil’munkari wa tu’minoona bil’laahi, wa laow aamana ah’lulkitaabi la’kaana qairan lahum minhumul’mu’minoona wa aksara’ humul’faasiqoon”. 110]. 110. “You are a better community, taken out for the people in general, you ask to do good things in a friendly manner, and you restrain the outrageous things and you have Faith in Allaah, and if the possessors of the book believe in it, it would be better for them, from them there are the believers and most of them are immoral”. Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he addressed his companions, “you are (those who) complete the seventieth community. You are good (compared to) them, and you are (those who) are respectable before Allaah (compared to them). Al-Qurtubi has also recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “The best people are of my period, then those who come after them, then those who come after them”. Quoting Abu Amama, Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “Blessed are those who saw me and believed in me, and seven times blessed are those who did not see me, but believed in me”.
23 Quoting Umar (Rz) Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “I was sitting in the meeting of Rasoolullaah (SAS), he asked “Do you know which creation is superior in the belief”? we replied, “the angels”, Rasoolullaah (SAS) said, ”It is the duty for them, but other than them, “we said, the prophets”, he said, “It is the duty for them, but other than them”, thereafter Rasoolullaah (SAS)said, “superior creation in the belief is the group of people, from the back-bones of the people who believed in me but could not see me, and they find the pages and act according to that which is in it, so they are the superior creation in the belief”. Quoting Abu Jumnia, Al-Qurtubi has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “we asked Rasoolullaah (SAS) ,”Is there any one who is better than us”? Rasoolullaah (SAS) said, “Yes, a group of people who will come after you, so they will find the book, and believe in that which is in the pages, and believe in me, without seeing me”. Quoting Ibn Abbaas, Ibn Kaseer has recorded the saying of Rasoolullaah (SAS) wherein he said, “Various communities (followers of the prophets) were presented before me, some were very few, even one or two. There was no one [for some] then I saw a very huge group of people, I thought they were my people, but I was told that they are the followers of Moosa(AS), I was told to see all the horizon, I saw innumerable people, and I was told that they are my followers, in it there are seventy thousand people who will be entered into the Heaven without checking their deeds and receiving punishments”. �� “Lan yazurrookum illaa azan, wa in yuqaatilookum yu’ wallookumul’ adbaara, summa laa yunsaroon”. [111]. 111. "They will never harm you except hurts, and if they fight with you, they will turn their backs to you, so they will not be helped”. �� “Zuribat alaihim azzillatu aina maa suqifoo illa bihablin minan’l’laahi wa hablin minan’nasi wa baa’uu bi’gazahin minal’laahi wa zuribat alaihimul’ maskanatu, zaalika bi’annahum kaanoo yak’furoona bi’ aayaatil’laahi wa yaq’ tuloonal’anbi’yaa’a bi’gairi haqqin, zaalika bimaa asaow wa kaanoo ya’tadoon”. [112]. 112. “They were stroke with disgrace, whenever they were found, except a rope from Allaah and a rope from the people (protection) and they came back with anger from Allaah and they were stroke with misery, that was because they were rejecting the signs of Allaah, and they were killing the prophets with out justice, that was because they disobeyed and they were exceeding the limits”. �� “Lai’soo sawaa’un min ahlil’kitaabi umma’tun qaa’i’matun yatloona aayaatil’laahi anaa’al’laili wa hum yas’judoon”. [113]. 113. “They are not equal, from the possessors of the book, there is an upright group of people, they read the signs of Allaah during night and they prostrate”. �� “Yu’minoona bil’laahi wal’yaowmil’aaqiri wa yaamuroona bil’ma’ roofi wa yan’haowna anil’munkari wa yusaari’uuna fil’qairaati wa ulaika minas’ saaliheen”.
