Mapping, field trials, and
disease screening are now in
progress on the SCR populations
for chromosomes 2A, 3D, and 7D.
Our results have shown that S.
nodorum resistance in wheat is
inherited in a complex manner
involving several genes. By
studying them in single
chromosome recombinant lines, we
should be more able to fully
understand their heritability as
well as highlighting linked
markers.
