DEUTZ symposium on exhaust gas aftertreatment
at bauma 2010
Because this year’s bauma focuses
on the range of applications
for construction machinery
and vehicles, then exhaust gas
aftertreatment will also take
on a central role. From January
2011 and commencing with performance
classes from 130kW
to under 560kW, diesel engines
for mobile machinery must comply
with EU exhaust gas stage
IIIB and US EPA Tier 4 interim.
These require a clear reduction
in particle and NOx emissions
For DEUTZ this means not only
complying with the differing
global emissions legislation but
also meeting customer requirements
as effectively and as economically
as possible as well as
providing them individually with
their power-drive needs. DEUTZ
is well prepared for emissions
reductions and demonstrates
its expertise again at this year’s
bauma. The challenges and innovative
technologies arising from
the new emissions legislation
are to be presented by DEUTZ on
21 April 2010 at a “DEUTZ modular
technologies for new emission
standards” symposium.
Numerous experts will be available
to answer questions on ex-
haust gas aftertreatment and to
provide information on the new
exhaust levels, the DVERT® system
(DEUTZ Variable Emission
Reductions Technology) as well
as the newly designed TCD 2.9
L4 engine. $
