THE BETTY WHITE CHALLENGE<br />

for being a friend…<br />
You may have seen the viral #BettyWhiteChallenge<br />
on social media, a campaign that urged her fans and<br />
animal lovers across the nation to donate to shelters<br />
and rescues in honor of her 100 th birthday which<br />
would have been January 17 th . Betty White was an<br />
amazing person and huge animal activist for all<br />
creatures great and small.<br />
Peggy Adams participated in the challenge and we<br />
were absolutely thrilled by the support we received<br />
through the Betty White Challenge. We want to thank<br />
everyone who honored Betty White, the Champion<br />
for the Animals, by making a donation.<br />
Over $58,000 was raised to continue our mission of<br />
providing shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted<br />
animals in Palm Beach. And, thanks to a generous<br />
donor, donations made to Peggy Adams were matched<br />
up to $10,000.<br />
Betty White must be smiling knowing all the support<br />
animal rescue facilities around the world received in<br />
her honor.<br />
GREAT CHARITY CHALLENGE<br />
Giving thanks…<br />
Each year, the Great Charity<br />
Challenge supports local<br />
nonprofit organizations<br />
through equestrian<br />
competition and the<br />
distribution of more than<br />
$1.7 million in grants.<br />
Peggy Adams was selected<br />
to receive a $25,000 grant<br />
from event sponsor Evergate<br />
Stables. These funds will be<br />
used to support our Safety Net<br />
program, which aims to help<br />
families keep their pets instead<br />
of surrendering them to a<br />
shelter. Thank you to Evergate<br />
Stables and the Great Charity<br />
