STRUB Zinkol 9910<br />
Synthetic drop forging lubricant<br />
DESCRIPTION<br />
STRUB Zinkol 9910 is a water-soluble release<br />
agent and lubricant and is suitable for all operations<br />
on forging hammers and presses. Although STRUB<br />
Zinkol 9910 does not contain any solid components<br />
and no PTFE components and silicones are added,<br />
excellent separation between tool and workpiece<br />
is achieved as a result of the driving and lubricating<br />
effect. Clean surface quality, optimum structure<br />
and long tool life are achieved. No lubricant residues<br />
form on tools and parting lines at any application<br />
concentration.<br />
APPLICATION<br />
STRUB Zinkol is used as a universal drop forging<br />
lubricant for light to medium-duty work on all<br />
materials, including light and non-ferrous metals. It<br />
is also ideally suited for precision forging. Before<br />
spraying the dies, the dies must be heated up to<br />
200 to 250°C<br />

DESCRIPTION<br />
Zonal 160/02 is a water-miscible die lubricant containing<br />
graphite for the non-cutting hot forming of<br />
metals. It prevents sticking of metals to dies and<br />
tools. The product reduces friction during forming<br />
and ensures metal flow. It is a forming lubricant<br />
concentrate. Mixing ratios of 1:10 are feasible even<br />
for parts that are difficult to demold. Zonal 160/02<br />
is an aqueous dispersion of graphite in water with<br />
the addition of native raw materials. Due to its very<br />
good wetting ability on hot tools, it is suitable for<br />
working temperatures up to + 1400 °C.<br />
APPLICATION<br />
Zonal 160/02 is usually diluted 1:8 to 1:15 with<br />
water. In special cases, such as damaged, cracked<br />
surfaces, temporary enrichment with concentrate<br />
is advisable. The lubricant-water mixture must be<br />
kept in motion by constant agitation to prevent<br />
settling of the graphite particles. The ready-to-use<br />
mixture is applied either manually with a hand<br />
sprayer or with the aid of an automatic spraying<br />
device.<br />
