Tri Elektronik was established by Remzi Büyüknalçacı in 1972. It stepped into the<br />

printing sector with the manufacturing of steel cliché first in 1991. We started<br />

exporting raw material of steel cliché in 1996. We started domestic distribution<br />

of VISPROX pad printing and screenprinting inks in 2000. Right after this<br />

development we signed sales and service agreement of pad printing machines<br />

with Comec Italia SRL in 2004. We continued to take our recognized place in the<br />

sector as Tri Elektronik San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. in 2010. We started to make assembling<br />

of EAZY 90 in 2013 and EAZY 130 machines provided from 100% Comec Italia<br />

SRL in 2015. We are proudly continuing to be a company improving its customer<br />

potential with the fame every day thanks to our adherence to quality, customer<br />

satisfaction and brand reliability from the very first day. We have currently been<br />

operating in the printing industry and manufacturing imports of main elements<br />

such as machinery and inks and manufacturing of consumables such as silicon<br />

pads and steel clichés. We have also been providing the service and after sale<br />

Vatan Cocuk Gerecleri established in 2007 in İstanbul. The company took over the distributorship of world famous brands<br />

all over the world between 2007 and 2016. It imports child car seats, baby strollers and other baby products from Spain,<br />

France, China and Bulgaria. It launched its own brand under the name CASUAL in 2009 and was awarded the “Best Travel<br />

The Global <strong>Baby</strong> Apparel Market size is expected to reach $207.1 billion<br />

by 2026. Its growth is attributed to different factors. Rising awareness<br />

regarding the safety and comfort of the baby is projected to be a key<br />

factor for the market growth in the baby apparel industry. In addition,<br />

parents are focusing not only on easy and convenient baby dressing<br />

but also on style in accordance with the latest fashion trends. These<br />

consumer trends are anticipated to play a key role in expanding the<br />

market scope of various baby apparel variants over the next few years.<br />

Since we are running intercontinentally, we are witnessing the latest<br />

trends in manufacturing, marketing, promoting, and logistics. This giant<br />

industry has been performing very well. As every industry encounters,<br />

the baby and kid needs sector in general and the baby fashion business<br />

in particular, has been facing qualified personnel shortage and raw material<br />

Our founder has started his trade life in 1994. He performed<br />

as sales representative, area manager and general manager in<br />

several companies. He worked in sales departments and buying<br />

departments of wholesale and retail industry. Using all of his<br />

knowledge, he took a step to baby clothing industry in 2012. He<br />

started to operate in baby clothing industry with a 300 m2 retail<br />

store. Since 2012 until today, he did and still does business with<br />

most beautiful and most quality brands of Türkiye and the World.<br />

He continues to provide certificated organic and modal fabric<br />

baby clothes to the World with <strong>Baby</strong>Cosy brand as Babeks Textile,<br />

Industry and Trade Limited Company in 2020. Our company has a<br />

branch office in Australia and a showroom in Merter/Istanbul. We<br />

are exporting 90% of our production.<br />

We are doing business with 70 countries notably Canada, Russia,<br />

Kazakhstan and European countries. We are doing contract<br />

manufacturing to the important brands of Türkiye and the World.<br />

Junioshow Bursa International <strong>Baby</strong>, Children’s Clothing and Children’s Needs Fair,<br />

which organized with joint organization of Tüyap Bursa Fairs and Bursa Chamber of<br />

Commerce and Industry (BCCI), within cooperation <strong>Baby</strong> and Children’s Clothing Sector<br />

Industrialists and Businessmen Association (BEKSIAD), with support of T.R. Trade<br />

of Economy, and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, will take place on 11 –14 January<br />

2023 at Tüyap Bursa international Fair and Congress Center, Turkey.<br />

Junioshow Fair, which will present tens of thousands of “spring-summer” baby-child<br />

creations for 0-12 years old, on a 20 thousand m2 area, in uniform special decor stands,<br />

is preparing to bring together the domestic and foreign baby-children’s clothing<br />

industry in the first month of 2023. The fair, which will be held in Bursa, the production<br />

base of Turkey, which alone meets 80 percent of the production in the baby and<br />

children’s clothing sector, will continue to be the meeting point of business people<br />

from home and abroad with nearly 200 participating companies.<br />

KAZAKHSTAN: TÜRKİYE<br />

Turkey’s general exports to Kazakhstan follow a fluctuating<br />

course. The export, which was approximately 750 million dollars<br />

in 2015, was recorded as 624 million dollars in 2016. In<br />

2017, exports increased by 19.6% to $746 million. Our exports,<br />

which were $695 million in 2018, were calculated as $900 million<br />

in 2019 and $338.2 million in the January-May 2020 period.<br />

When the trade between the two countries is analyzed, it<br />

is observed that there is a foreign trade deficit against Turkey.<br />

The foreign trade deficit is $2,104 million as of 2019.<br />

Kazakhstan’s largest supplier of textiles is China with $160<br />

million worth of imports and a 43.8% share. Turkey is Kazakhstan’s<br />

third largest supplier with a 7.8% share and $28.4<br />

million.<br />

In 2017, ready-made clothing and apparel exports to Kazakhstan<br />

decreased by 13.8% and amounted to $85 million. In 2018,<br />

ready-made clothing and apparel exports increased by 20.4%<br />

to 102 million dollars. Ready-to-wear and apparel exports,<br />

which amounted to $165.6 million in 2019 with an increase<br />

of 38.3%, reached $59.1 million in the January-May period of<br />

2020.<br />

Among the product groups in exports are men’s wear, women’s<br />

wear, sports and outerwear, sports and swimming wear, baby<br />

wear, as well as socks and accessories.<br />

In 2017, exports of textiles and raw materials to Kazakhstan<br />

amounted to $60 million with an increase of 151.4%. In 2018,<br />

exports of textiles and raw materials amounted to $72 million<br />

with an increase of 20.8%, and $31 million with a decrease of<br />

132.8% in 2019, and $9.6 million in the January-May period<br />

of 2020.<br />

In textile and raw material export; yarn includes woven fabric,<br />

knitted fabric and fiber.<br />

Common Customs Tariff in Kazakhstan with the<br />

Eurasian Customs Union<br />

With the Eurasian Customs Union established between the<br />

Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Belarus in 2010, the customs<br />

between the members of the union were reset and the<br />

common customs tariff application for third countries started.<br />

Later, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan joined this union. Accordingly,<br />

for example, 10% tax is applied on knitted women’s coats and<br />

coats, and 10% on cotton and artificial synthetic dresses.<br />

According to the data of the Turkish Ministry of Economy, there<br />

are 600 companies with Turkish capital in this country. These<br />

companies employ more than 15,000 people. As of March<br />

2016, 475 projects with a total value of 21 billion dollars were<br />

undertaken by Turkish contractors in Kazakhstan. The amount<br />

of international direct investment from this country to Turkey<br />

is 681 million dollars.<br />

After Kazakhstan declared its independence on December 16,<br />

1991, Turkey became the first country to recognize Kazakhstan’s<br />

independence on the same day.<br />

The common historical, cultural and spiritual ties between<br />

Turkey and Kazakhstan have greatly improved the relations<br />

between the two countries. After gaining its independence,<br />

arrangements were made on the basis of relations and cooperation<br />

in various fields with many agreements and protocols<br />

signed with Kazakhstan.<br />

Parallel to the level reached by the political relations between<br />

Turkey and Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan has become one of Turkey’s<br />

most important political and economic partners in the<br />

region.<br />

Kazakhstan, which is about 4 times the size of Turkey and the<br />

9th country with the world’s largest surface area, is very rich<br />

in natural resources. This factor plays a decisive role in the economy.<br />

The main items in exports are petroleum and petroleum oils,<br />

natural gas, metal ores and products made of metal, wheat and<br />

other agricultural products and chemical industry products,<br />

while machinery and equipment, vehicles, metal products,<br />

chemical and food industry products come to the fore in imports.<br />

Kazakhstan is the world’s 52nd largest exporter with 37 billion<br />

dollars and the world’s 65th largest importer with 25 billion<br />

dollars. The country’s largest importer is Russia, while the largest<br />

export market is Italy and China.

from 2.5% in the previous report. Türkiye’s economy is expected<br />

to expand 3.5% in 2023, up from April’s forecast of 3%, the<br />

Washington-based institute data showed.<br />

ANKARA – The International Monetary Fund has recently cut its global economic growth forecast for both <strong>2022</strong> and 2023 amid high<br />

inflation, a slowdown in China, and the continued Russian war on Ukraine.<br />

According to the IMF’s latest World Economic Outlook, the global economy is projected to grow 3.2% this year, revised 0.4 percentage<br />

points downwards from the previous forecast in April.<br />

Growth is expected to moderate in 2023 to 2.9%, down 0.7 from April’s projection.<br />

Downgrades for the world’s two largest economies, China and the US, as well as for India, are driving the downward revisions to global<br />

growth during the two-year period.<br />

The US economy is expected to grow 2.3% in <strong>2022</strong> and 1% in 2023, revised down by 1.4 percentage points and 1.3 percentage points,<br />

respectively.<br />

This was due to disappointing growth in the first two quarters with weak private consumption and the erosion of household purchasing<br />

power and the expected impact of a steeper tightening in monetary policy.<br />

The IMF lowered its growth projections for China by 1.1 percentage points and 0.5 percentage points respectively in <strong>2022</strong> and 2023,<br />

driven by extended lockdowns and the deepening real estate crisis. China’s GDP is now foreseen to rise by 3.3% this year and 4.6%<br />

next year.<br />

Growth forecast for Türkiye was revised upward to 4% in <strong>2022</strong> from 2.5% in the previous report. Türkiye’s economy is expected to<br />

expand 3.5% in 2023, up from April’s forecast of 3%, the Washington-based institute data showed.<br />

Growth in the euro area is also revised 0.2 percentage points downward to 2.6% this year and by 1.1 percentage points to 1.2% next<br />

year, reflecting the fallout from the war in Ukraine as well as the assumption of tighter financial conditions.<br />

The outlook for India has been revised downward 0.8 percentage points, to 7.4% in <strong>2022</strong>, led by less favorable external conditions and<br />

more rapid policy tightening.<br />

The IMF underlined that consumer inflation is surging faster than expected, fueled by food and energy prices besides lingering supply-demand<br />

imbalances.<br />

The fund upgraded its inflation forecasts by 0.8 percentage points for both <strong>2022</strong> and 2023, hitting 8.3% and 5.7%, respectively.<br />

“The outlook has darkened significantly since April. The world may soon be teetering on the edge of a global recession, only two years<br />

after the last one,” according to IMF’s chief economist Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas.<br />
