6.1. MONITORING OF THE ACTION PLAN<br />
Based on the previously listed indicators, each university can decide on 3 - 5 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<br />
per priority area (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) of the Action Plan, to regulate and measure progress (by year, or<br />
any time period which the university considers useful) in specified areas of work as per the table below. These<br />
KPIs are based on the indicators which are in use at the majority of <strong>EPICUR</strong> members, but of course, others can<br />
be developed if required/wished.<br />
The KPIs indicated below could serve as basic guideline for <strong>EPICUR</strong> as a whole, but indicators of course depend<br />
on the legal regulations in place in the different countries and options available at each university. Therefore,<br />
this list (just as the whole document) should be seen as a basis for future activities taking place in the <strong>EPICUR</strong><br />
-Shape-IT Phase (e.g. in the Impact Observatory) and beyond.<br />
Again, it has to be repeated that indicators only measure quantitative aspects, but qualitative measures are<br />
essential for all <strong>EDI</strong> activities and therefore should also be part of performance indicators and quality assurance.<br />
