There are anumber of advisory groups across the District, and we are seeking nominations for new members to join the following: •Clarkville Rural Drainage Advisory Group •Central Rural Drainage Advisory Group •Coastal Rural Drainage Advisory Group •Ohoka Rural Drainage Advisory Group •Oxford Rural Drainage Advisory Group •Waimakariri Water Race Advisory Group The rural drainage advisory groups generally cover the rural area of the district where adrainage rate exists for maintenance and capital projects. The water race advisory group is specifically to advise on the water race system in the central part of the District and works in partnership with Waimakariri Irrigation Ltd. For clarification of the boundaries of any of the groups, please contact Dan Lewis at the Council offices. The IT SystemsProfessional will be responsible for providing daily IT support to the Rangiora business. Ideally you will have some retail experience. Working closely with the McAlpines group and the M10 NZ support centre including IT support services and maintenance as we transfer onto the newM10 ERP Platform. Tasks will include: • Providing IT supporttothe firm. • Ensuring systems administration tasks arecompleted promptly and accurately. • Monitoring systems, applications and services taking appropriate action as required. • CoordinateHardware&Software implementation from M10 NZ. • Creating &maintaining detailed documentation. • Planning and implementation of IT projects. • Plan for software, hardware &mobile apps upgrades to prepare for the future. Skills required: • Effectively and efficiently communicatewithtechnical &non-technical staff. • Some experience installing, configuring and fault-findinghardware. • Anunderstanding of IP networking and security To be successful in this role, you will have experience in IT systems management in amedium to large organisation, with the ability to continuously learn and adapt your skills. Ideally you will have experience with many current technologies, such as but not limited to: • SAP • MySQL reporting • Microsoft 365 suite of products • Windows 10/11administration • Configurationand management of Axis Cameras and software • Configurationand management of NEC IP Telephone or similar • Aworking knowledge of virtualisation McAlpines have an active Drug &Alcohol policy,apre-employment drug test will be required.
