Chance to have a coffee with a cop
• By Tina Grumball
LYTTELTON POLICE are offering
the public the opportunity to have
“coffee with a cop”.
Sergeant Anna
Partridge said she
hoped to break down
barriers and make police
more accessible to the
Anna
Partridge
community through
initiatives such as this
one, and having a mobile
police bus out and about.
Police will be at the three
designated cafes ready for a general
chat, or a chat about issues facing the
community.
The public was welcome to just go
and meet the officers as
well.
The police would pay for the coffee.
