Chartered Director status is a

This session is for anyone who has
achieved the IoD certificate in
Company Direction and/or the IoD
Diploma in Company Direction. You
will learn more about the final stage
in your professional
development journey
with the IoD, find out
what’s involved, the
costs and FAQs.
There’s a chance to
have a shared
experience from a
CDir assessor and a
Q&A session with recent
Chartered Directors.

Company Direction programme

can enhance your impact and
performance as a director? Do you
want to gain the latest tools and
techniques from expert practitioners
who have a wealth of experience in
boardrooms across the globe? If
you answered “yes” then this may

this year. We warmly invite you to
find out more about our gold
standard Certificate in Company
Direction. In this free information
session you can sample course
content alongside other delegates
and meet the IoD’s course leader.
Whether you’re a newly appointed
director, aspiring to a seat on the
board, or want to improve
performance with fresh insight, the
IoD Certificate in Company
Direction, Bachelors level (SCQF)
qualification will equip you with the
core knowledge and awareness
needed to function effectively as a
director.
The session will be interactive,
featuring a Q&A with the course
leader and Chartered Director and
will also include a teaser activity
from one of the Certificate in
Company Direction modules. You
will discover what it means to be a
Chartered Director, and will have
the opportunity to hear direct
experiences from a member of our
Chartered Director alumni.
The session is led by Sheelagh
Duffield, a corporate governance
specialist advising clients on best
practice governance, and Menai
Owen-Jones, a holder of the
Chartered Director qualification and
an award-winning social sector
Chief Executive and an experienced
Non-Executive Director.
