Music City Backstage
Suggested Itinerary
Nashville
Day 1: There’s plenty of fun to be had on your first night along the
Honky Tonk Highway! Test out your karaoke skills at Hard Rock Café
or put on your dancing shoes and head on over to Wildhorse Saloon
where you can learn how to line dance like the legends. Need a late
night snack? Check out the fried and delicious offerings at Paradise
Park.
Day 2: There’s no place better to begin your journey then with a
personally guided tour of Historic RCA Studio B, where music
legends recorded timeless songs. Step behind the scenes to see
what it was like to record an album. Then it’s off to the Country
Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, where you can hear rare
recordings of country’s legendary performers. While at the Country
Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, experience Stories Behind the
Songs: a 45-minute backstage look at the craft of songwriting.
After working up an appetite! Head to Puckett’s Grocery for some
delicious southern cookin’ or sample a local cold brew at Tennessee
Brew Works. After lunch, head backstage at the “Mother Church of
Country Music,” the Ryman Auditorium! Afterwards step inside The
Johnny Cash Museum which houses the largest collection of Johnny
Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world. Take your stage at the
Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum and embrace your inner
musician!
In the evening hear from the songwriters behind the hits during a
songwriters round at The Listening Room Café or the infamous
Bluebird Café. Here you can listen to the stories that inspired some
of today’s chart-topping music from the authors themselves.
Day 3: Why not visit where Tennessee whiskey is made at the Jack
Daniel’s Distillery! Off the beaten path in Lynchburg, TN— the oldest
registered distillery in the U.S. is where the magic of brewing this
world-famous Tennessee whiskey happens. It’s where Mr. Jack first
crafted the recipe for Old No. 7 and it’s where the pure, iron-free
cave spring water flows. Most importantly, it’s where every drop of
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Sippin’ whiskey is still made and bottled
today. Head on back to Nashville and experience the Grand Ole Opry
– Nashville’s must-see attraction and the world’s longest running live
radio show. As the home of country music, the Opry offers an
