Days 1 – 3 Boston<br />
Boston has something for everyone whether you are an individual<br />
traveller or holidaying with your family. Along with good public<br />
transportation it is a very walkable city and easy to get around.<br />
Boston is admired for its beautiful harbour, museums, food,<br />
revolutionary history and its sports traditions including the beloved<br />
Red Sox baseball team<br />
Tourism attractions are plentiful here. Walk the 3 mile Freedom Trail,<br />
immerse yourself in the Museum of Fine Arts or the Museum of<br />
Science is a favourite for kids. This well know University City hosts<br />
performing artists of all kinds and Cambridge brims with university<br />
centered entertainment. The Boston Public Garden and Boston<br />
Common are two of the most well- known green spaces that invite<br />
people to ramble and take in their surroundings. Don’t miss the<br />
quirky shops in Newberry Street, Prudential Centre, and Copley Place<br />
and of course the historical Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall<br />
Marketplace where you can sample local artisan food. Activities for<br />
children can be found everywhere from the Children’s Museum,<br />
Franklin Park Zoo, Museum of Science and the New England<br />
Aquarium. Boston Duck Tours are also a great way to see the city<br />
from the streets and the waterside.<br />

Days 4 – 7 Cape Cod<br />
Cape Cod is a beautiful coastal region and made up of many quaint<br />
beach towns each with their own individual charm. The summer<br />
months of July and August are especially busy here but even then<br />
you can find uncrowded peaceful corners along the quieter north<br />
shore. Enjoy the beaches or explore the many lighthouses and<br />
windmills in the area. The Cape Cod National Seashore is a<br />
protected area along the east coast that stretches for 40 miles with<br />
beautiful beaches, woodlands and bird nesting grounds. Here you<br />
will find mile of attractive hiking trails. Take a ferry out to Nantucket<br />
or Martha’s Vineyard for the day. Whale Watching tours are very<br />
popular in the area and are available from mid-April through to<br />
October. Bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail which extends 25 miles through<br />
the region and is mostly flat terrain so a great activity for all the<br />
family.<br />
