Days 1 – 3 Boston
Boston has something for everyone whether you are an individual
traveller or holidaying with your family. Along with good public
transportation it is a very walkable city and easy to get around.
Boston is admired for its beautiful harbour, museums, food,
revolutionary history and its sports traditions including the beloved
Red Sox baseball team
Tourism attractions are plentiful here. Walk the 3 mile Freedom Trail,
immerse yourself in the Museum of Fine Arts or the Museum of
Science is a favourite for kids. This well know University City hosts
performing artists of all kinds and Cambridge brims with university
centered entertainment. The Boston Public Garden and Boston
Common are two of the most well- known green spaces that invite
people to ramble and take in their surroundings. Don’t miss the
quirky shops in Newberry Street, Prudential Centre, and Copley Place
and of course the historical Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall
Marketplace where you can sample local artisan food. Activities for
children can be found everywhere from the Children’s Museum,
Franklin Park Zoo, Museum of Science and the New England
Aquarium. Boston Duck Tours are also a great way to see the city
from the streets and the waterside.

Days 4 – 7 Cape Cod
Cape Cod is a beautiful coastal region and made up of many quaint
beach towns each with their own individual charm. The summer
months of July and August are especially busy here but even then
you can find uncrowded peaceful corners along the quieter north
shore. Enjoy the beaches or explore the many lighthouses and
windmills in the area. The Cape Cod National Seashore is a
protected area along the east coast that stretches for 40 miles with
beautiful beaches, woodlands and bird nesting grounds. Here you
will find mile of attractive hiking trails. Take a ferry out to Nantucket
or Martha’s Vineyard for the day. Whale Watching tours are very
popular in the area and are available from mid-April through to
October. Bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail which extends 25 miles through
the region and is mostly flat terrain so a great activity for all the
family.
