CYRIL CHANDLER CUP
The Cyril Chandler cup was presented to the South Midlands
region by the late Ken Gourlay. The cup is to be presented to
the highest price animal for the year sold in the region through
a society sale.
This year it was presented to Waldencourt Redwood a
Westcarse Houdini son sold through Welshpool for 6,000gns
We very much enjoyed
the herd visits that we
got involved with for
the Charolais Congress.

the trip out to visit
the Caylers herd of
David and Louise
Barker. The cattle
were very impressive
with great uniformity
and breed character.

The following day quite
a number of our members visited Jeremy Price’s Oakchurch
herd and The Corbett Families Teme herd . We were all
impressed by the quality of the cattle on show and the warm
hospitality shown on the day. Thank you to the breeders that
opened their farms to us.
