Food, food, and more food available
You no longer have to travel
around Canterbury for an enticing
meal. The Pierside Collective has
been created to bring a sense of
vibrancy and life back into the
New Brighton area.
The Collectives goal is to assist in branding
New Brighton as a destination to be proud
of with attractions popping up like the hot
pools, and the new development in the
planning stages which will offer a much
welcomed face-lift.
The Pierside Collective is working closely
with developers to add value to the
treasured seaside city wanting to invite
people near and far to come for visit.
They also hope businesses will find New
Brighton a location to start a new business
or launch an additional location of an
existing one.
New Brighton is actively regenerating itself.
With that regeneration seven passionate
food vendors, who are well known
for their excellent food and respected
culinary choices as some of the very best
Christchurch has to offer are showcasing
their culinary skills every Thursday in New
Brighton at this initial stage.
The Collective members are regular pop
ups at large citywide events, and their
united plan is simple. Create amazing food
and provide a vibrant place to come to!
All the food trucks are located to the side
of the New Brighton Mall. They are open
every Thursday from 5-8:30 and have
inside dining available. Come and enjoy the
music in the family friendly environment
with easy parking and a great selection of
food to choose from.
