news Bergara opens its subsidiary in France Bergara Rifles has launched distribution of its products in France through its own company BPI Outdoors France. France joins the United States and Spain as the third country where the Bergara rifle brand will act as manufacturer and distributor of its weapons and accessories. The proximity of France to the headquarters of Bergara, located in northern Spain, is less than 80 km from the French border, and the importance of this country as a market share in the hunting sector in Europe were key factors for this transition. “This step represents a bet on the French market.,” says Guillermo Martinez, Bergara International, Commercial Director. “An exciting challenge that will give us the opportunity to fully exploit our commercial potential.” This new development halts the previous collaboration with Verney Carron S.A., former official distributor of the Bergara brand in France. “We thank Verney Carron for the work accomplished over the years, but we understood that it was the right time to take the plunge and strengthen our direct relationship with our customers, improve the dialogue and strengthen the after-sales and customer service that gives us such good results in the United States and Spain,” says Rafael Serret, International Marketing Director at Bergara.
