Youth Corner
Spring is finally here, and hopefully everyone has
been having a good breeding season for Convention.
Along with Spring, now it’s time for us to work on
getting rabbits ready and finished for Nationals. As
you prep for Nationals, don’t forget to order your
banquet tickets. This year they are offering a
children’s buffet (under 10) option, or a youth plated
chicken tenders meal. You can get either option for
only $20, with it being only $40 for the adult option.
The Youth Committee is looking for several nice
quality mini rex to be donated to the Linda
Thompson Memorial Youth Scholarship fund. We are
also looking for a couple unique custom made items
to include in the auction this year. If you are
interested in donating, please contact me on
Facebook or email me (MBRMiniRex@gmail.com).
Just a reminder that this is a silent auction. We will
again be placing tags on cages of rabbits that are
donated, but we ask that you do not handle the
rabbits until after they are moved out of their show
coop and into the auction area.
Also, we will be doing something a little different this
year. For the silent auction we will be placing
pictures of the animals/items online and we will keep
the current bids updated as often as we can. This will
allow those that can’t go to the show an have an
opportunity to bid. All winning bids are due
immediately after the auction closes. Transport is the
responsibility of the buyer, and all rabbits must be
out by the time the Sunday Specialty ends. If you are
