Bridget Forman secretary Nmrrcsecretary@gmail.com Hello everyone, My name is Bridget Forman and I have raised Mini Rex for a little over 20 years now. My husband and I, along with our three children, two dogs and too many rabbits (according to my husband) live on a farm in Wisconsin. My mother, Marta and I show as a partnership and my daughter is finally old enough to show in Youth. Like many of you, I kind of grew up within this hobby and now as a mother it’s quite special to be able to share it with my children. Over the years I have held a Youth Director position, was extremely involved in our county’s 4H rabbit project, held many positions within our local rabbit club including Secretary, VP, and President along with being the Superintendent of our annual youth show for many years. I am currently a Director for the Midwest Mini Rex Club. I am looking forward to this new chapter as Secretary and want to thank the Board of Directors for allowing me this opportunity. Transition is never easy and there may be some hiccups along the way so please be patient as I learn the ropes. Hi as I look forward to meeting more of our great members. See you in Ohio! Over the years he has been a wonderful and supportive advocate for our breed and invested countless hours into helping make this club the success that it is, and I thank him for that. With spring finally here, I hope mother nature will start treating us all a little bit better because I for one am ready for sunshine and warm temperatures. Nationals is right around the corner so make sure to check the website for updates and do not forget about the entry deadline. Lee Bastyr treasurer Nmrrctreasurer@gmail.com Hello Mini Rex Friends, It’s been a very long and snowy winter in MN. Calendar says spring is around the corner but the ground is still a vastness of white. I’m looking forward to warmer temps and green scenery. The 2023 National show in Columbus, OH will be here before we know it. I hope everyone is eagerly making preparations. The NMRRC is hosting and it should be a well attended and fun event. The financial report for 1 Fiscal Quarter/2ⁿ Quarter of 2023 is included in this Newsletter.
