New Harcourts opens in Prebbleton

Co-owner James Twiss
confirms the office will open this
week, following Easter.
The office has a prominent,
“second-to-none” location on
Springs Rd, to the right of the
bakery.
Twiss expects plenty of foot
traffic and encourages people to
drop in and say hello.
“Clients can expect to drop
into the office five days a week
and meet up with someone
happy to have a coffee, a chat and
discuss any real estate needs.”
Building relationships is a key
focus.
“Rather than an email, we’d
rather talk to the person and
see them face-to-face and spend
some time with them and get to
know what they need and want,”
says Twiss.
With a bakery next door, it’s a
great chance to chat over a coffee
and a bite to eat.
Says Twiss: “Clients can expect
the same great service but more
of a local understanding of the
marketplace.
“Staff have a detailed knowledge
of what’s occurring in the
marketplace, particularly since
it’s a growth market with plan
and zoning changes, and they
will be experts on the upcoming
plan changes.
“Our focus is to have local people
working in local offices, supporting
the local community.”
The company will have a staff
of about five, including Natalie
McLean, who lives in Prebbleton
with her family.
The well-known local Ransley
family are going to be wellrepresented.
Jaden Ransley
brings a strong, competitive
background in motorsport. He
will be joined by his mother,
Rana, a business owner who
brings her successful real estate
knowledge with her.
Twiss says Harcourts Four Seasons
Prebbleton will give locals a
good choice of real estate brands.
He says they are about providing
a service and opportunity for
locals and proving themselves
through results.
“The main commercial
developments in Prebbleton
have been put together well and
highlighted the need to have a
space there.”
Prebbleton was chosen as
high-quality homes are already
established, three plan changes
are in the works, and Prebbleton
is reasonably close to the city.
Twiss also says the Prebbleton
client base has a strong
Harcourts following, and with
existing offices in Rolleston and
Lincoln, the area is now wellcovered.
Harcourts Four Seasons has
over 100 salespeople over nine
locations specialising in providing
services to mostly rural
North Canterbury and Selwyn.
“We enjoy working with the
people and want to fit in with
the communities we work and
live in. So, we are here to do a
job well and be a big part of the
community,” Twiss says.
