Adult and Community
Education Courses at
Papanui High School
People enrol in Adult Education Courses
for a myriad of reasons. It may be to gain
new skills, to build the confidence to go
onto more formal learning, or simply
to try a different activity. Being in the
company of like minded learners, relaxing,
socialising, and forming new friendships
is a very real bonus to the actual subject
matter being taught. What would you like
to learn? Perhaps you want to learn the
ukulele or guitar, or maybe you would
like to learn to speak another language or
sample the cuisines of the world or improve
your fitness there is plenty of variety in the
courses offered at Papanui High School.
We have some new courses on offer for
Term 2, Millinery where students will
learn how to make a Felt Fedora Hat. In the
Reiki class you will gain an understanding
of the energy system in the body and learn
how to give yourself and others a Reiki
treatment. If you would prefer to learn
something completely different we are
offering a Genetic Genealogy Research
course which will show you how to unravel
the mysteries within your genetic family
lines using modern research methods and
tools.
Term 2 courses begin week of 8 May. For
