on level terms. We had a go, especially in the
second half, but again we’ve got to pose more
of a threat more often when we get towards the
opposition penalty area. There’s a tendency to
pick the wrong pass or the wrong option – and
then sometimes there are options we don’t make
use of as well. We need to shake those habits
quickly. What disappointed me most was the
second goal, when we’re putting some pressure
on the edge of their box, but then we failed to read
the danger of a Coventry breakaway and we’re
wide open. With Leon Balogun going off injured,
we’re then down to 10 men and all over the place
for the third goal a couple of minutes later.
Tonight, though, is another opportunity to put
things right and I want to welcome Norwich City,
David Wagner and his players to Loftus Road this
evening. They’re a side stacked with Premier
League quality and they’re still in the hunt for a
play-off place, so they’ll present a tough challenge
and we’ll be needing not just hard work, but also
togetherness. Both among the players on the
pitch and you, our fans.
I’m all too aware we haven’t given you a massive
amount to cheer lately. But I also know just what
an unbelievable atmosphere QPR supporters
create at Loftus Road – especially under the
lights – when you get right behind the boys, give
it everything you’ve got and urge them on to do
the same.
