Stallion Feature - Tenareze
Breeding
Tenareze is a compact horse with
beautiful expressive paces that score
well in the dressage arena and has the
gallop and stamina you’d expect from a
thoroughbred. His movement is
combined with a jump that would have
been good enough for him to have
pursued a career in pure show jumping.
He is by the great sire Jaguar Mail
(Hand in Glove xx – Laudanum xx)
– sire of European Champion Fischer
Takinou – out of a premium Anglo Arab
mare Utopie du Maury by the
leading AA sire Quatar du Plape – sire
of several international event horses and
show jumpers. His pedigree combines
thoroughbred blood on the sire line with
some of the most sought after Anglo
Arab lines on his dam line.

Competition Acumen
Tenareze is a charming horse who is
easy to handle. He is the consummate
professional and doesn’t get hot in an
event atmosphere. He is definitely a
favourite of long-term head groom

Progeny
Owner Nigella Hall also has a part
share in one of his first foals bred in this
country, TENZ, who is stepping up to
Intermediate/3* level this year and is
showing similar promise and talent.
