Katherine Erminia Shunyia made
her entrance into the world on
June 2, 2007 at 7:41 p.m. at
William Beaumont Hospital in
Royal Oak. She weighed 7 lbs.,
10 oz. and was 21 inches long.
Katherine is the first child for Peter
and Jennifer (Kasco) Shunyia.
Very proud grandparents are
Sallim & Wafaa Shunyia and
Nancy J. Holmes. Great grandmother
is Erminia Farinelli Bailey,
for whom Katherine was named.
Patrick & Serour (Shunyia)
DiGiovanni are her loving godparents.

Omar Sesi and Christina Alton
became engaged on February
24, 2008. Omar is the son of
Korkess & Maryam Sesi.
Christina is the daughter of Faisal
& Thaira Alton (Hana-Kachel).
The couple’s engagement ceremony
was performed by Fr.
Emanuel Shalita and Fr. Basel
Yaldo of St. George Church.
Christina attends Oakland
University and plans to graduate
in December with her bachelor’s
degree in Elementary Education.
Omar owns his own business.

at Penna’s of Sterling Heights.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon
