Vast sections of the internet are<br />

dedicated to videos of things being<br />

power washed because a broad swath<br />

of the general public finds the process<br />

of transforming grime-covered surfaces<br />

to clean and bright spaces to be utterly<br />

mesmerizing.<br />

Millions of people have watched<br />

clips from YouTube channels like<br />

Power Washing World, where outdoor<br />

furniture, trucks, patios -- even vegetables—are<br />

pressure washed.<br />

What’s the attraction?<br />

Autonomous Sensory Meridian<br />

Response (ASMR), which, defined<br />

in medical terms, describes the experience<br />

of tingling sensations in the<br />

crown of the head, in response to a<br />

range of audio-visual triggers.<br />

general public, its dreamy.<br />

This human obsession with pressure<br />

washing entered the multi-billion-dollar<br />

video gaming realm in 2021<br />

when a small, UK-based game developer<br />

– FuturLab – created PowerWash<br />

Simulator.<br />

The game lets interested gamers<br />

blast dirt into oblivion right from their<br />
