GED® Testing at Our Center<br />

The <strong>Palo</strong> <strong>Alto</strong> <strong>Adult</strong> <strong>School</strong> is an authorized testing agency for the General Education Development Test.<br />

This test is recognized as a High <strong>School</strong> Equivalency Certificate throughout the United States. Anyone<br />

over 18 years of age who does not have a high school diploma is eligible to take the test. Please call<br />

to determine eligibility if you are under 18. Tests are given by appointment for a fee of $175. Testing<br />

accommodations are available by request. For information, call (650) 329-3752.<br />

The current GED test series will be discontinued at the end of 2013. Be prepared to complete<br />

all tests by December 2013. A new series of computer-based tests will begin in 2014.<br />

developing appropriate social and work<br />

skills in this educational program. Services<br />

provided include: structured small classes<br />

that focus on independent living and work<br />

skills; prevocational counseling; guidance<br />

in part-time training; and individual and<br />
