better way to begin the festivities than with a Yu
Sheng (Prosperity Salad) also known as Lo Hei.
Hayley from Hayley Food Kitchen will take you
through what you need to know to create this
colourful, yet simple salad. Enjoy this demonstration
and the opportunity to sample the finished salad!

economical way to prepare and serve these dips

Little Landscapes - Painting
Workshop
Mental Health Week
Join local artist Lou Endicott this Mental Health Week
as she introduces participants to simple landscape
painting with acrylic paint. Participants will be guided
step-by-step with the use of a fun warm up exercises
to become familiar with the paint technique used in
this workshop. A beautiful, small landscape painted
on a mini canvas on an easel will be created for
participants to take home.
No prior experience necessary!
1000 Hearts: Make Your Own
Pocket Heart
World Kindness Day
Come along to this crafty session and help spread a
little love in the world! Participants will make small
pocket hearts from materials provided; these can be
given away in random acts of kindness or passed
onto someone who might be struggling. Very basic
sewing is involved but staff will be on hand to help
out.
