Tours the Chaldean
Cultural Center

group from the Jewish community and West
Bloomfield leadership visited the Chaldean
Cultural Center inside Shenandoah Country
Club on Saturday, August 5. This was the first of a series
of events for the year-long Chaldean Story project,
made possible with support from Michigan Humanities
Grants. Guests enjoyed a guided tour of the museum
with a history lesson by Executive Director, Weam
Namou. The event, coordinated by Sharkey Haddad
of the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce, included
a luncheon and discussion. Sharkey is one of
the project advisors for the Chaldean Story initiative.
