While recent years have seen an explosion in competitive
socialising venue openings, Lucky Voice has been hitting the right
notes long before this mainstream emergence in hospitality.
The karaoke chain - and
Gamechangers member - has
been providing groups with private
booths to sing with friends and
colleagues to their hearts’ content
since 2005.
With four London sites, another in
Brighton, a franchise in Dubai and
plans for more - both home and
abroad - in the pipeline, Lucky Voice
is turning the volume up.
Speaking with The Oracle in the
comfort of the VIP booth at Lucky
Voice’s newest site at London’s
Liverpool Street, Managing
Director Charlie Elek explains that
the success of the competitive
socialising sector has helped his
business up its own game.
He explains: “It’s been really great
for us that this space has been
created. When Bounce opened
in 2012 that was a key moment
because off the back of that came
Flight Club, Puttshack, Swingers…
everything else.
“We saw these operators as
competitors - but in a positive way
because there were not that many
in our space.
