<strong>Selwyn</strong>’s Marvellous MotorFest<br />
and Family Fun Day<br />
Keep the 26th of November <strong>2023</strong> free for the whole<br />
family to have fun and be entertained at the ever-popular<br />
<strong>Selwyn</strong> Motorfest and Family Fun Day. Held at Helpet<br />
Park entry, near Broadlands Drive roundabout (High<br />
School end) from 10am to 3pm, this spectacular car<br />
show and family fun day supports <strong>Selwyn</strong> and Rolleston<br />
not-for-profit groups. For an affordable $5 entry, $10<br />
for the whole family, or $10 pre-registration for vehicle<br />
exhibitors, you can see a treasure trove of restored and<br />
modified vehicles and wander around the many activities<br />
and stalls.<br />
You will be treated to the sight of anything with an<br />
engine–from bikes, tractors, cars, trucks, and classic and<br />
vintage vehicles. With over 500 vehicle entries at last<br />
year’s MotorFest, if you love Hot Rods, Harleys, Muscle<br />
Cars or even tractors, then <strong>Selwyn</strong> MotorFest and Family<br />
Fun Day is the place to be. There are plenty of options<br />
for those who prefer market and community stalls, live<br />
music and entertainment or the lure of food and drink<br />
vendors. The kids are certainly catered for with face<br />
painting, mini Jeeps for kids, bouncy castles, mini digger<br />
rides and, of course, the traditional lolly scramble.<br />
Supporting the event are the principal sponsor, One<br />
Agency, along with <strong>Selwyn</strong> District Council, Rotary<br />
Clubs of Rolleston and Lincoln, and Big Boy Digital<br />
Marketing. Donations and sponsors are relied on to<br />
fund this fantastic local annual fundraiser, which assists<br />
<strong>Selwyn</strong> and Rolleston, not-for-profit groups. Last year,<br />
the event raised $20,000 for local organisations; over<br />
the past five years, over $85,000 has been raised for the<br />
community.<br />
For lots to see and do, come along to the <strong>Selwyn</strong><br />
MotorFest and Family Fun Day on the 26th of<br />
November, rain or shine. There’s plenty of parking and<br />
loads of fun to be had for all the family. If you wish to<br />
show your vehicle, you can register online up to the day<br />
prior for $10 (this includes everyone in the car) or pay<br />
$20 at the gate on the day.<br />
