Ceramics Studio
In these fun-filled classes, artists explore clay and
transform it into cups, plates, tiles, as well as modeled
figures of animals, plants, and more. Students learn
advanced ceramics techniques as their ideas come to
life in imaginative three-dimensional artwork. Each
quarter, the instructor introduces new themes, so this is
a great class to take again and again. No previous
experience with clay is required.

Ceramics Independent Study
This Ceramics class is for teens who would like to work
on their ceramics projects on their own time. Class fee
includes a bag of clay and the glazes and firing required
to complete projects. Instructor, Mo Moran, is available
to answer student questions via text and in person when
dropping off and picking up artwork for firing.
Students will be responsible for bringing their artwork
to be fired to the Art Center and to pick up the glazes.

Ceramics Teen Open Studio
This course is designed as a space for students to
use their prior knowledge and creative experience to
develop a deeper understanding of ceramics and their
own artistic voice. Students will build upon established
ceramics skills and continue to develop technically
and creatively. This can include wheel throwing and
hand-building depending on the students’ interests.
This class offers guidance, but not specific projects as
it is meant to prepare students for self-directed studio
work.
