Our Philosophy
The Alzheimer Society is seen as a resource in the area for those living
with dementia and caregivers. Our success is significantly due to the
desire to work collaboratively with other organizations. We aspire to be
a leader in the development of best practices in dementia care. Our
programs and services promote wellness and social inclusion.

Our Mission
To alleviate the personal and social
consequences of Alzheimer’s disease and
related dementias and to promote research
with respect to such disease and dementias.
Our Role
The role of the Alzheimer Society of
Sarnia-Lambton is to offer support, information
and education to people with dementia, their
families and their caregivers, to increase public
awareness of dementia, to promote research
and to advocate for services that respect the
dignity of the individual.
