A LOOK AT OUR STUDENTS
Jacob’s mom encouraged
him to apply to AU after
researching schools and learning of Auburn’s
reputation of having the happiest students
in the nation. Jacob got involved with FMA
and ASIF his freshman year and credits the
Program with being a main highlight of his
college experience. “FMA jump-started
my career in finance, and I can’t thank the
organization and its leadership enough. I’ve
made some of my best friends in college
through FMA. The student and alumni
mentors make the organization uniquely
impactful, and they provide members the
opportunity to gain valuable insight into
finance.” For his part, Jacob has streamlined
the diversity recruiting process for FMA,
always making sure that students are
aware of opportunities and up to date with
applications.
Spending his sophomore internship in
Houston with RBC’s Investment Banking
division, Jacob encourages younger members:
“the organization gives back what you put
into it. Don’t let anything get in the way
of your goals, and don’t be afraid to try
something new.”
